lovely day isn't it? so why don't you chill outside upon the lawns with a few friends, play a 'nice clean game' of quidditch. Remember, the forbidden forest is out of bounds to all students due to its dangerous inhabitants, but that never stopped anyone, now did it?

home to those in slytherin house, and the house elves who slave away to feed you all. sneaking away to the kitchens for a bite to eat is common, if you know how to get there! by the way, have you handed in your potions assignment?

here you'll find the great hall behind magnificent large oak doors, and of course the favourite hang out of peeves who is usually here and up to his normal tricks. watch out for his tumbling walking sticks...

a handful of classrooms here in this torch-lined corridor: muggle studies, defence against the dark arts and it includes everyone's favourite; history of magic! the loyal hufflepuffs also reside here.

visiting the head of school are we? hope you're not in any sort of trouble! or are you just here to pick on poor old myrtle? her loo is just down the corridor from the gargoyle which guards the head's office.

you'll find the charms classroom here, along with the hospital wing if you end up having an accident, or just to visit a friend. the statue of the humpback witch is located here and proves to be useful for those who know the secret behind it.

when harry met peeves... oh and don't forget to jump that trick step or you might find your leg stuck in the floor for quite some time! the loos are located here, along with the library in which to get that homework done and the hidden room with the mirror of erised.

prefects found mostly here as their bathroom is just down down this medieval tapestry-lined corridor, and it also also contains a few secret passage ways and short cuts. a tricky corridor to manoeuvre. don't lose your way!

transfigurations is found in here, as well as astronomy, the study of the stars and more of the universe! you can also find the entrance to the ravenclaw tower and a secret passageway to the seventh floor if you can find the door which masks itself to be part of the wall...

Here resides those brave little gryffindors, and the entrances to the towers of divination, astronomy and the rooftops. will you get lucky in time of need and have the room of requirement materialize for you? a suit of armour greets you at the foot of the stairs and the tapestry of barnabas the barmy hangs right across from the room of requirement.

take a lovely walk across the rooftops of the castle and enjoy the grand view of the grounds and see all the way to the mountains on a clear day. wear a coat as it can get quite chilly and remember, slippery when wet!

ah, the village of hogsmeade. full of friendly locals, pubs, and stores filled with all sorts of interesting candy, trinkets and jokes. grab a butterbeer with some friends! though avoid the hog's head unless you want to meet the not-so-friendly dodgy lot!

haven't you noticed that the street travels diagonally? pick up all your school, quidditch supplies and all your practical needs here on this cheerful street by entering through the leaky cauldron and tapping the correct pattern on the bricks to gain entry!

around the corner from diagon alley, this twisting alleyway is devoted entirely to the dark arts and definitely not a place to go for a peaceful walk. you don't want to be caught being seen here, or your reputation may be put in jeopardy!

unless you're employed here, you'll find yourself descending by means of the red telephone booth located in a dingy area in the heart of london which serves as the visitor's entrance. don't forget to dial the right number! present yourself, your purpose and collect your visitor's tag and make your way once you reach the atrium to the lift which will take you to your desired department.

manor houses, cottages, little shacks. all sorts of houses are roleplayed in here in these little rural neighbourhoods ranging from low-class to higher middle class. the majority of the wizarding population lives in these regions.

all over places in the world that you might like to visit, be it some rocky cliffs, high mountain rages or a forest with hippogriffs! it might even be one of the other smaller wizarding villages or somewhere... less hospitable.

want to visit the muggle world? know how to figure out their money? or how to use the subway? careful about what you say and dare not use any magic or you'll find yourself in trouble with the ministry!

want to chat about something that's on tv? perhaps a new book that you've read, or a new movie? feel free to post those sort of things in here.

in character and out of character games are found here, so play away, but don't forget to keep up the roleplay, we know how distracting these can be!
