QUIDDITCH PITCH
on the other side of the castle from the forbidden forest, equipped with a broom shed, this open gigantic stadium with six large hoops is where you can grab your broomstick for a game of quidditch! watch out for that bludger!

BLACK LAKE
here squid, squid, squid... no, i'm kidding honestly. please don't feed the squid, and refrain from pestering him; he's getting rather old and grumpy now. the deep lake is layered with a black silky surface and awfully freezing in the winter time!

FORBIDDEN FOREST
forbidden to all students, what on earth does that even mean? ;) at night, the howl of werewolves and sounds of all sorts of terrifying beasts issue from the dark forest. the trunks of the aged trees thicken as you venture deeper into the heart of the forest.

BOAT HOUSE
located on a lengthy dock on the hogwarts lake, this old creaky boat house houses the magical row boats that take the first years for the traditional trip across the black lake before the sorting ceremony. not traditionally a hang out spot, but you can find some broody types hanging around. row, row, row your boat...
